Export, Shipping & DOA Policy for Betta Fish

Fish ordering / Delivery method:
You must use a transhipper because you don't have a license to import living forms (fish). We cannot send fish directly to you, so we send them to a transhipper first.

• Select a transhipper from the list below, or from your own trusted contact.
• We will confirm our shipping date to the transhipper.
• Fish shipping frequency is weekly or 1–2 times per month depending on the transhipper.
• After the fish are shipped, we will inform you.
• Because eBay policy requires it, we may set the shipping service as “One-day shipping” in the listing – this is a system requirement, not the real transit time.

For a country that is not in the list or if you cannot find a contact from the internet, please contact us directly. (eBay's policy does not allow us to show full contact information publicly.)

Shipping Info:

• We ship tropical fish to transhippers in the USA every 2–4 weeks.
• Please contact the transhipper for information about local shipping cost and how to pick up the fish.
• It will take another 1–2 days from the US shipping center to your address, plus any additional time your local courier needs.
• We will send you the transhipper information – name, location, phone number and email – and the transhipper will also contact you when your order has arrived.

Please send your complete address, phone number and an active email. We will not refund when your fish have already arrived in your country but you do not respond to emails from the transhipper. When fish are shipped out of Thailand, it means we already paid charges to the Thailand shipping center and transhipper.

Wild betta fish are specialized in both shape and habits. Farmers and keepers should understand the nature of wild betta well before raising them.

1. Betta fish color may fade when moving or changing the breeding environment. It takes about 5–15 days for the fish to adjust and the color will return to its original state.
2. This betta is a warm–water fish and should be raised using a heater when the weather is cold.
3. Wild betta are very easily startled. When shocked, their color can disappear or fade, and will return gradually when the fish feels safe again.
4. Wild bettas prefer peace and quiet because they are naturally easy to catch in the wild.
5. To raise wild betta fish, you should add Indian almond leaves to the water. The leaves release tannins and other beneficial substances that help the fish feel more comfortable, mimicking their natural environment and often enhancing their colors.
